9:00 – Over €12 billion spent using mobile wallets in past year
Mobile wallets have become increasingly popular in Ireland with over €12 billion spent in the 12 months to March, according to the Banking and Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI).
This was just over half the value of the €24 billion spent using contactless payments made during the period.
