Hong Kong Stocks Close Higher For Third Day

Hong Kong shares advanced Friday for the third straight session, helped by promising consumer spending, as investors eye the release of US inflation data later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 2.5 percent, or 395.33 points, to 16,339.96.
Markets in mainland China were closed for a public holiday.
